Furnished rentals: the 11 mandatory amenities

Your project is reaching its conclusion, you are ready to rent your property and for many reasons, you opt for a furnished lease.

Be careful, however, under penalty of nullifying your furnished rental, it is essential to respect the legislation in force, in particular that regarding equipment.

Here are the 11 mandatory pieces of equipment to provide to your tenants.

So if you claim the title of furnished accommodation, mentioned in article 25-4 of the aforementioned law of July 6, 1989, the furniture includes at least the following elements:

1. Bedding including duvet or blanket;

2. Device for concealing windows in rooms intended to be used as bedrooms;

3. Hotplates ;

4. Oven or microwave;

5. Refrigerator and freezer or, at least, a refrigerator with a compartment allowing a temperature of -6°C or less;

6. Crockery necessary for meals;

7. Cooking tools ;

8. Table and seats;

9. Storage shelves;

10. Lighting fixtures;

11. Housekeeping equipment adapted to the characteristics of the accommodation.
